A Blessingway is a beautiful gathering of the expecting mother and her circle of women who love and support her. Together, they partake in a ceremony blessing the mother on her journey into birth and motherhood. The focus of the ceremony is to empower the new mother with strength, confidence, love and friendship as she enters into giving birth and motherhood. No negative birth stories are allowed, only good vibes, positive encouragement and all the goodness of raw femininity, friendship and generations of mothers who have come before. Bohemian / tribal theme and dress honours the ancient and sacred act of giving birth and emergence into the eternal tribe of mothers. Individualized spiritual and cultural considerations are honoured, as every woman is unique.
